PCR - mediated RAPD to Identify the Major Medicinal Herbal Drugs in genus panax

Abstract
|

|
In this study, The RAPD analysis was carried out on the major medicinal herbal drugs in genus Panax such as the root of Panax ginseng, P. quinquifolium and P. japonicus.
The results show that there is molecular systematic corelation between them. Also, random primer OP-26-17, OP-26-20, OP-26-24 have been proven to be highly effective markers that perform especially well in identifying the root of Panax ginseng, P. quinquifolium.
